David M. Suire, Ph.D.
Dr. Suire earned a Bachelor
of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at
Dallas in 1989.
He completed his Doctorate in 1998 at the
University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
He was originally licensed in Illinois in 2000.
He also holds a license to practice psychology in
Missouri.
Dr. Suire has professional
experience treating and assessing inpatient and outpatient
males and females with issues such as chronic mental
illness, depression, mania, psychosis, maladaptive coping
and personality issues, adjustment issues, criminal
competency and responsibility, violence and sexual risk
assessment, sexual offending behavior, neuropsychological
impairment, dementia, and learning disabilities.
He has extensive experience treating sexual
offenders, including those found to be Sexually Violent
Persons/Predators, as well as in designing and implementing
treatment programs designed to reduce the risk of sexual
recidivism.
Dr.
Suire, in addition to training and education in regard to
general therapeutic and assessment issues has specific
training in the areas of neuropsychological assessment and
geriatric assessment issues.
He has specialized training and experience in the
cognitive assessment of persons with visual disabilities.
